I love this class, but I would like to see more DTs. Will there be a couple of other guys move inside?

My guess is that Herron could move inside. Looks to have the frame and looks like he still will mature physically.

Overall the DL is about as good as it gets. Plus, the returning DL ain't too bad.

Good thing is alot of our D-Line commits can play both outside and inside. Versatility is a great thing to have

Ummm we got more than 2.

Gilmore
Bain
Lacouture

Lawson would have made 4 but had a problem qualifying.

Bain, LaCouture, and Gilmore will play DT. Herron could slide inside in passing situations but Miles referred to him as a "bookend" today.

Gotcha. I was just looking for the prototypical 6'3 300 pounder that will be a rock after moffitized. Still this is a very athletic DE-DL class.
And Bain and Gilmore will fit the bill of big bodies in the middle.

Herron is probably going to end up there, and definately a mustang package candidate. Any accurate weight on him? I'd heard about 265, so if thats accurate, he could be around 280 by about Sept, once the college wt program starts.

I think that is exactly what you'll see - all 3 of those guys just need about 15 lbs of muscle and they'll be right there. That is the prototype Chavis LSU DT - fast and athletic. Like Brockers, we bring them in light and pack on the good weight when they get to campus.

Oh, just wait till you look at our RB commits from the last two years.

(not counting Jeremy Hill who was originally from three classes ago)

Yeah, both him and Herron will be beasts on the interior in the future.

I know Herron is a 5-star, but where is the speed??

Bower and Herron seem to be 4.7 at best???? aint bad but at best....

Patterson is fast isn't he?? but small???

I gotta trust the coaches on this one, not exactly what we have seen in Montgomery and Mingo are they?

I saw on Dandydon, thought... that Detellier said Herron reminded him of Montgomery

Patterson, Herron, and Bower are just as fast as big Sam. Mingo speed doesn't grow on trees man.

What I like about our dl guys this go round is that they are all legit. No filler. Heck that goes for the whole class with only a very few exceptions.
