Because unlike Bama we don't have unlimited recruiting resources. Trying to take Bobby Humphrey's son would be a huge waste of time for LSU.

I find it VERY hard to believe that a Bama legend's son ends up anywhere else but there. FSU is just a diversion.
However, I agree with the OP, it couldn't hurt to offer. Not now, but early on.

I don't think anyone here would be upset to see an Alabama legend's son (especially one who is one of the premier CBs in the country) playing for the Tigers. It would be an awesome get. All that said, I think Marlon Humphrey is at best, an extreme long shot to commit to LSU this late in the game. Who knows? Crazier shite has happened
