So fricking what? If they don't want to come to LSU that is fine. LSU will be fine without them. The sun will actually come up.

Recruiting insiders on what sites? Rivals, scout, and ESPN are pretty crappy places to get real inside info now a days ... The only reputable site left is 247 and they the rest of the LA talent overwhelmingly picked to go to LSU as of today.

Not sure if your sources are worth a damn ...

Insiders on here, those players tweeting certain things, recruiting insiders on different websites. It's pretty obvious as of right now. We may get all three in the end, but right now they aren't leaning towards LSU.

So if we do get all three in the end are people on this board still in denial? What a ridiculous statement. Did you ever think that people on this board may just be optimistic that things will happen that will bring recruits to LSU when it's all said and done? Why am I even responding to this stupid thread?

I am most certainly not in denial. The voices agree with me that there is no problem, so you can keep your 1st of 12 steps crap to yourself. I'm fine.

And this is different from other states how? Which state doesn't lose a top star or two to an OOS school?

I do not understand why so many so called LSU fans want to come here and claim all these recruits are not going to LSU and then when someone disagrees and offers evidence for that stance, you claim they are "in denail". Its the ultimate "do you still beat your wife type of question".

The biggest difference between LSU's culture and Bama's is that they think everyone is going to Bama. A sizable number of LSU fans not only think everyone is leaving but almost seem to relish it. Almost like they want to return to the 90's, want to suck so they actually have a legitmate reason to gripe. That they want to say, see I told you so and if by chance they turn out to be wrong, they can just say, I'm glad I was wrong. Its bizzare and sad.

Cam Robinson committing to Bama was written in stone, but most were so blind to the facts and things being said. Hootie was there with Cam and Sims at his commitment and there are several things being said that has him leaning towards Bama, but "that doesn't mean anything". People tell things on here from inside sources and always get blasted and told they're wrong and most of the time they're right.

tiger2011 - I think most people on the board deep down has a little bit of a concern over Jones. Everyone knows for a fact that at this point not only does our coaching staff at LSU have to worry about Bama's coaches recruiting Jones but now has to worry about significant pressure from CRob & Sims which have admitted they are going after Hootie hard. That being said LSU still is in the driver's seat as of now, come signing day we will see. As far as severely disappointed, if LSU lands the number 1, 2 or 3 class in the country severely disappointed should not even be in the discussion.

Does LSU need to step up their recruiting efforts and not take anything for granted in the state? Absolutely, and hopefully they recognize that and do what it takes to make sure no one else gets over the fence!!!

Shannon Terry and another bama guy still have Hootie going to LSU. The only people that have him going to bama are Demetric Warren and his boss. I know Demetric and he's the biggest douche in the business. He already predicted Brosette to Notre Dame right before he committed here.

I'm just wondering what, if anything, we message board posters should do about this predicted "mass exodus?" I guess I could up my letter writing and phone calls to the guys. I've really been slacking lately.

I agree with all of that. I don't see why its being in "Denail" to think positive about Jones or any other recruits. Another thing to keep in mind despite him being at Robinson's announcement and CR and CS recruiting him is this : Bama already has 20 commits. Aside from Jones they are pursuing 2 other big Saftey prospects: Ronnie Clark (who is from NELa and is also friends with CR and CS and long considered a Bama lock and CJ Hampton (currently committed to Ole Miss, but who many think could flip, LSU also recently offered Hampton). I don't know, but would think they would not take 3 Safeties with only 5 spots left and some pretty big fish left on the board like Carter, Hand, Humphrey...

We stand a chance, some large some miniscule, of losing every recruit.

Does that mean we won't get any? No
Does that mean the people that think we'll land them are in denial? No

This isn't a zero sum game. CRob wants go to to Bama, fine. Player rankings mean jack crap as soon as they hit the practice field. We'll find, train, and develop another.

and Hootie... yeah, Bama and their new found N La supporters are working on Hootie hard. So is LSU's staff. They recruited CRob since the 8th grade, LSU tried; it didn't work out. Just because Bama is targeting someone doesn't mean they are a Bama lock.

Shite is getting old.

Well, that's it then...we should just give up, Bama is going to pull in most of the Top 10 from Louisiana, in addition to the 20 players they already have committed.
