Regarding RB's

quote:

First and foremost, a prospect that has been on LSU’s radar for some time now is 4-star Mississippi RB Fabian Franklin. The Hattiesburg (Miss.) High School standout is the big-framed back that the Tigers need to exercise a downhill rushing attack. Interest is mutual, but no offer has been allotted just yet.

Franklin is a candidate to pick up his offer at a recruiting function this spring, and it’s likely he could commit on the spot. That would give LSU an early running back commitment to feel comfortable in — like Edwards-Helaire provided a year ago — and breathing room to pursue one or two more quality tailbacks until signing day.
[quote]
Former IMG Acdemy (Fla.) standout back Asa Martin added his offer from LSU last September during the Battle on the Border in Shreveport, La. A former teammate of Grant Delpit, Dylan Moses and Jhamon Ausbon, Martin received a ton of pressure to join up at LSU. Of course, only Delpit wound up signing with the Tigers, but that’s an invaluable connection.

Would like franklin to get an offer tomorrow. No point on waiting if he is already getting impatient and starting to flirt with other teams

I like the dual threat QB Micheal Barrett as a RB option.

Really like Keontay Ingram too but no idea where he's leaning, he's right on the Texas/Louisiana boarder location wise.

Why is he a hack? He predicted 9/12 correct to LSU.

I don't follow him, but didn't he start the rumor about the N.O. boycott thing that was nothing and kept pumping it 'til it was obvious it was nothing and now is writing about what was not happening to begin with is now not happening?

Also after reading the link above I now know Harris is the most talented QB on the roster who was pulled after the second game last season when I thought it was the fourth and is likely to get the starting nod this season. Is he now pumping a quarterback controversy?

Sam, sorry to disagree with you but my gut tells me Etling will be the starter and Lindsey Scott will get some special package time in preparation for him being the starter in 2018.

The boycott was a real thing. It just didn't happen. But it was discussed by HS coaches.
Too much smoke to not be real.

I agree, I think several people took the Juluke decision personally. A week before NSD Karr had their band waiting for Coach O during a visit.

Juluke was the fall guy. He wanted to offer entienne in April of last year. Les did not...Juluke asked time and again to offer entienne and a couple more in state players.
He was the fall guy.
