They usually update The Opening guys soon after that, but the rest will be at the end of July or early August.

24/7 just updated their internal ranking, but I don't think the composite team rankings have been adjusted accordingly.

Master Teague is suddenly a top 50 player after committing to OSU without having played a game, and Cade Mays, a 5 star everywhere else, drops 14 spots without having played a game. Seems legit.

He was massively underrated, he's a beast and showed it this summer. He's still ranked outside the top 400 on some sites

I agree and he deserved a bump in the rankings, but how can you say he is top 50 after a few summer workouts?
As far as I know he wasn't even at the opening. Just seems a little strange

I agree but it's how these things work. Our QB commit, Emory Jones, dropped to the 80s because he's a dual threat QB that doesn't camp well.
They want to generate bzz and clicks so they move people around. The only ones that really matter (as much as rating do matter) are the final rankings. And even then it's just a guess even though the more highly ranked guys you have, the better chance you have to win based on statistics. But it's just a volume game really.
