I thought it came out that he was down to State and Kentucky. I remember a thread on the sec recruiting boArd about it. Now sure how accurate the thread was though.

He's not coming to LSU. We just added another guard in Sampson.

if newman is a true 1 and done he wont get the minutes he needs at LSU

He would get the minutes if he became a true Point Guard, but can he be a true point? Idk...

We need big men, I expect the staff to go hard after kasongo or a transfer

Absolutely. For as much talent as will be on the team next season, LSU still has a glaring hole without some else to help rebound/defend inside.

Will Victor be eligible early?
Can Robinson start to live up to any of the potential?

Right now LSU has Bridgwater who is overmatched most nights inside; Malone who...well...is very good at boxing out...Epps who seems to have the height and athleticism but plays more like a wing. Simmons is a great player, but his game is not really banging inside with strong PFs and Centers.

State makes the most sense for his goals, but UK probably offering more immediate cash.

Malik came out and said he will not sign a letter of intent. That way he can change his decision at any time until he enrolls in school. He is playing this as business decision as a prospect can...

Hopefully this doesn't become the norm.
