When do all the transfer portal players hit on Monday

I haven’t heard anything negative to change that opinion one bit, but I haven’t talked to anyone in weeks. I just wanted some good news. I want to be clear that I have no LSU school sources. CBK runs a tight ship.

But to do these NIL deals you have to have some money people that do occasionally talk. But it’s dealing with 20 year old kids so nothing is ever done until it’s done, especially now.

You probably won’t see the bulk of the portal guys until after the bowl games.

Are we going to get announcements in an hour then? Player x is signed with team z? I'm guessing there are a lot of transfers already lined up. Curious how it shakes out.

There will certainly be a lot that officially enter on Monday, but a good amount of those were already guys that had announced intentions to transfer. Where the flood will happen is when teams finish their bowl games and the coaches begin focusing on roster attrition and reaching out.

Where many coaches have alluded to it being the wild wild west. Is that you have guys that have no intention of entering the portal being contacted via third parties gauging there interest.

Just my opinion it seems like the coaching carousel in a sense that you have big name mainly QBs, WRs, RBs, and OL that a lot of schools would want. Then you will have the ripple effect from that, which will really cause the "flood" you mention. The truly sad part to all of this is that there will be hundreds of kids that do not know any better, enter the portal and have no landing spot in the FBS and either have to drop down to the FCS, or may be done with their football careers. It will be great life lesson for many but still sad none the less. Right now you have coaches and or connected program guys reaching out to players HS coaches or handlers/parents gauging interest throwing out NIL numbers just like in HS recruiting.
