Signing with LSU:
I'd say Tashawn Bower. I felt like it came out of nowhere even though he visited close to NSD.
Not signing with LSU:
Either Shiro Davis or Erik Fowler.

Seemed like Patrick Peterson was a big surprise. I don't remember if he committed on NSD or not.

I thought Tony made his announcement before NSD. The infamous 5 for 5 day at the UA AA game.

That's always been the rumor. Regardless, it came as a HUGE shock to both A&M and LSU fans that he signed with LSU

Was set to commit to aTm at a ceremony at his school. He was at his locker before class and a couple of girls started singing the Aggie fight song in the hall. It aggravated him to the point he flipped to LSU before the signing ceremony.

Williams was very highly recruited and the L. Fornette of his day. The story was that a bunch of his classmates began singing the Aggie song, as if he was just expected to go there by everybody. He lived not far from College Station,. Something about that pissed him off. And to everyone's surprise he picked LSU, having given no prior indication he might do so.

You are right.

I don't know how I could've forgotten such an infamous day.

Decommits

Good article, from 2012 to present. Lots of them didn't pan out very well at other schools to say the least.

OK new guy.

His sister was at LSU and he was very pro LSU throughout the process. Most thought he was a lock.
