I guess I don't get it. He said if Craig was leaving for Oregon it would be to late to get to know a new coach at LSU. But Bama loses there coach who was recruiting smith and nothing is said. He is just looking for a excuse not to be a tiger

Let it go. He wanted to be at Bama all along.

When are people going to realize that kids being steered away from LSU will be given any and all excuses to use as to why they aren't going to LSU even if those excuses don't make any sense?

Smith is not at Bama because of Napier. Saban could leave and he'd still go to Bama as long as Pettito is there

Why don't you guys quit projecting things and sniping at 18 year old kids who are making life changing decisions. We rejoice when out of state kids pick LSU, yet throw crap at Louisiana players who spurn LSU for other schools.
Maybe if you did not react to every tweet, photo or rumor that does not favor LSU some of these players might eventually decide to stay.

You're absolutely correct. He has made it unequivocally clear that he wanted to go to Bama from the very beginning of the recruiting process, and basically shunned LSU from the start. Best wish for the young man but NOT best of luck. See em tiger stadium down the road.
