What would be the level of euphoria on here if Caleb Williams transferred in?

Low or disappointment.
I think most are quite content with the QB room and riding with Brennan, Walker and Nuss.
Personally I hope its just media rumor and LSU isnt trying to get him to transfer to LSU.

Anyone saying they'd rather Myles over Caleb are idiots.
Myles is good, but Caleb Williams would make us automatic contenders again. He is a 1st round QB wherever he goes. We still don't know what Myles is.

He does not make us contenders this year. We have EVERYTHING brand new but our OL coach. He’s not coming here anyways but at best he MIGHT bump us up to a 10 win season next year. Take those purple and gold glasses off.

Me saying that is more of a bump to Caleb. He is elite, he will be a 1st round QB and most likely will be the 1st overall pick in his class.

I don’t know about contenders but if we landed Williams you can’t point to any game and say it’s an automatic L outside of maybe bama. He keeps us in every game.
Williams has more starts under his belt than Brennan and Brennan hasn’t played in 1.5 years.
It’s a no brainer.

Brennan: Been at LSU 5 years, only started 4 games. Back to Back season ending injuries.
Nuss: Assed it up last year, has potential but a gunslinger, will most likely end up transferring
Howard: Not ready for SEC football, coming off of an injury, will take a year or two to be ready.
You take Caleb right now over all 3 of these guys.

He is a great talent no doubt but we have absolutely no identity whatsoever until we see what is going to happen the first year under CBK. I really was t trying to knock you or anything but I’d be happy with a 8 win season next year with what we have now. Williams might add one or two more Ws if he joined.

I'll take that any day. Plus Myles only has one year left anyways (I think)
Caleb comes in, starts this year. Our potential rises and who knows what happens. We go into 2023 with a veteran group all around, with Caleb Williams leading them.
I know him coming here probably wouldn't happen anyways, but people are saying we shouldn't take him. That's an idiotic take.

I've been the biggest Brennan cheerleader I know. But, you don't pass on Williams. He is too good. But I wouldn't take that report of him considering LSU seriously.

I think it would be very high just based on how folks usually reply on positive news. I get that Brennan deserves his shot but Williams is a different caliber QB. Kelly has done fantastic addressing our areas of need so far. That being said I genuinely don't believe he is interested or that we are in a bidding war for him.
