Looking now we are 8th and other teams will keep jumping us because we are at 20 recruits and most of them are at 15 average. Texas is coming strong at number 4.

I imagine we finish at 8 or 10 when all said and done.

Assuming we can get Marshall and Surtain, I'd say #10. Not going to be the eye popping class, but 2019's class will be IMO.

12-16 range

They have taken a lot of players that are projects.

We would have to cut at least 4 commits and then finish really strong with 4 stars and up to get in the top 5-10 conversation.

People will get upset but this is a very mediocre class.

Hate to agree.

Coach O is notorious for closing strong, (see: Philips and Chaisson last year)

5-10

This. Coach O will close strong and might do better but this is about right for '18. Let's just play ball, win games and recruiting will work out. Remember how many kids are waiting to see how we come out on offense this year. It will affect the '18 and '19 recruits. '19 will be a bigger pool of elite talent in LA. Just win baby!

I'm curious how many of our kids get big bumps when it is all said and done.

I hope they do just for optics. Looks good to have top ranked recruiting classes.

Also, I'll add that at Ole Miss, Orgeron recruiting several under the radar guys that ended up being studs. He's got an eye for raw talent. And I trust Aranda completely on the defensive side of the ball as well.

Once this HS football season concludes, and all of our "horrible 3 star players" are upgraded to 4 star players, our ranking will be just fine. Book it.

We have lots of 3 stars and we will end with pretty much as many. This is not an elite class and will be one of our worst in a while. But keep pumping that sunshine.

Guys will get bumps and we will land a few higher rated guys not on the radar. I'd say anywhere from 6-10 range.

It'll finish around the same average as LSU has for years now. I'll go with #8. Not bad for a first year HC. 2019 is already shaping up to be top 3...........If not #1.
