It doesn't sound like it. Her statement mentioned that she took a vacation with her husband and when she came back she realized it was time to step away. Hopefully that's all it was.

After the Lisa Bluder news, my focus would be on contacting anyone who knows Hannah Stuelke.
She averaged 14 points, 6.6 rebounds, and had 19 blocks last year as a sophomore forward.

Iowa fans have probably been telling their players that LSU is the Taliban for the last 14 months so I wouldn't bet on that being fruitful.

They're promoting an assistant coach that has been there for 24 years, in an attempt to prevent a mass exodus, I'm sure.

she is from iowa, so i doubt she has any interest in leaving especially with jensen sliding straight into the head coaching position. it will be interesting to see if lucy olsen stays the course now.

jan jensen, lisa's right hand woman, is taking over. doubt anyone leaves that program. theyre basically getting a slightly younger version of bluder as a replacement! and with everyone that left this year, hannah's now the star of the show! all eyeballs with be on her. she's sitting pretty right where she is.

oooo good point. tho i think its been said she actually wants to take on the role of being the next caitlin clark!! girl's got a lot of confidence! so i would think she stays. like with stanford, its best a program like iowa hire from within because even without clark they actually have a decent team returning next year.

I don't think she would make a impact here, she is a system player and under sized for us, she would have to come off the bench and If I was her I wouldn't.

We won't be able to contact her or anyone on Iowa's team. They have to enter the transfer portal to be able contact them. Very interesting the timing of Bluder's retirement, after the transfer portal deadline May 1. Iowa players rarely transfer out of Iowa. But you never know, now that Bluder is gone.

i believe they get 30 days to enter the portal (even if the portal is closed) after a coaching change.
