Barker isn’t coming to LSU. Still have Dauda out there, other than her , not much else as far as help in the post.

Read on this board couple days ago, multiple people said Dauda does not have LSU on her list for visits. Is that correct? Also, last I read, Barker is not considering LSU.

Actually I think it was a list of 20 schools that reached out to her , LSU wasn’t one of them which is hard to believe.

if youre talking about the post from skim milkey, thats not exactly what it said. it said mulkey/lsu is not currently involved in the race for her (dauda's) services. which could mean that dauda had already (from the more than 20 programs that have reached out to her) decided that lsu was not a program she intended on going to.

The problem with the posts like skim milkey is they really don't say anything and put emojis and crap to always give themselves an out.
The post in question had a wink emoji at the end so could be interpreted as LSU isn't in the race because they've already won it and have a silent commitment. Who the hell knows for sure?
If CKM and company aren't after her then I trust in their evaluation of the situation and their overall plan.

here's a bit of gossip out of a&m:
in the world of NIL, apparently joni says they lost A PLAYER to the portal bc said player was asking for $400K. if true, that has to be barker.
do ole miss kentucky or auburn (the schools with the black coaches) have that kinda money to give to a player? would lsu give her that?? did lsu offer her that and she tried to get a&m to match? is barker even worth 400K??
also interestingly enough, maybe dawn played the portal game. maybe barker DID commit to south carolina and south carolina had to wait for the portal to close so that THEY wouldnt lose any players! namely kitts. bc she's the first one to lose out if barker goes to carolina. and i think we would have taken kitts if she was in the portal. we would take any of their bigs! but now they're all locked in.
dawn's not letting anyone on that team get $400K. so what gives? if rumors are to be believed...

Kim is a great coach and the team will still have a very nice run next year but I just struggle to see how a team who didn’t sign any top HS posts, lose Angel Reese, add a player who has never played the post before (Jersey) and feel okay with what they have inside.
I don’t doubt Smith will have a big year but that’s incredibly risky, especially since she is coming off an ACL tear and there is no guarantee how much better Rosario will be next year. Withstanding the pg spot, you could argue replacing Reese was just as critical for next years team

well, bird’s eye view — morrow was brought in last year to replace angel when she left. it was reese/smith starting before the injury. then morrow/reese. they need someone to come and train behind morrow this year and relieve her in games at the power forward position. smith/adr at center.
