Ran into a Shreveport team yesterday at a meet. Long story short, anyone heard of Chris Lewis? Should be a senior this year I think. Real fast guy. Waiting on the fat times but I'm pretty sure he's going to contend for state this year.

Aight, new name from Nola. Hopefully this isn't a recent graduate too.

Desmond Holmes, seems to be as fast as Lewis. Submitted a 10.39 for entry into the regional qualifier this weekend.

At the bottom of those results, I'm sure FS means false start....what does DNS stand for?

That's what I figured, but why would someone not start? Injury? That would be a scratch, right? Or if you scratch pre race, is that a dns?

Just a personal example. We want for lunch between events a few weeks ago and got back just as my sons heat was taking off for the 200.

Got a DNS that week on that event.

Gotcha, thanks. Basically a scratch. I saw there was a kid from Welsh that got a dns in the finals results posted here. I have relatives there and planned on asking about the kid. Can't imagine dbs'ing in the finals unless injury related.

Yeah, I would assume at a state finals it means you got an injury or something.

No way you miss that for lunch

Regional results

For anyone interested. Very impressed with the future dutchtown star. 11.69 fat 100 at 13 and still growing/correcting form.
