It's been posted here before, but there is an NCAA rule (I believe it's III.C.12.b) that prohibits recruits from a school on the campus of a university, from signing with that university.

The reality is some guys just want to go off for college and I can understand that even though I would love for them to stay. If I grew up with LSU in my backyard, there's a chance that I would want to go away to get a new experience.

The reality is that LSU hasn't offered/tried very hard to sign any of the U-High players who haven't signed with us other than Dylan Moses. LSU didn't prioritize the rest.

I had this arguement a couple days ago about Harris. He refused to camp at LSU at get evaluated. LSU wound up offering him anyway later than others and he got butthirt about it.

That is exactly right. The truth is Harris played CB at uhigh and wanted to be in college so no way we are taking him over our CB commits. Clark is a great kid and player but he falls under the same situation and I'm sure his dad wanted him to play for Herm if he wasn't going to realistically play here and I don't disagree with him. The other two we did not highly recruit and thats the way it goes. I do know that we got a commit from who our staff graded as hands down the best player on that team. All that and bc of the lab/university NCAA rule is why we didn't get them.

From Baton Rouge and play uhigh every year. There is not a single kid on that team except for maybe Roy and Hollins that are sec material. Alabama taking Christian Harris May be the most confusing thing a I have witnessed in recruiting by Alabama. Way way overrated

100% accurate. He was a propaganda signee for Saban.
