If we do not play well and balanced, it could affect 1/2 or signing day. It is extremely important we come out 1/1 and show these guys something to be excited about. I am excited about 1/2 also, but recruiting does not stop then.

I think you are right, but negative recruiting will not stop. I still think it is important that we continue to win. You can"t tell me that last drive against Arky did not show recruits the future. We need a good 1/1 showing. 5 for 5!!!

5 for 5 won't be affected by 1/1. We all want to see the team win the bowl game in big fashion, but 1/2 sets up YEARS of success. And yes, I know recruiting doesn't end on 1/2, but I think you either don't know or are underestimating the historical significance of getting all 5 of those guys on the same day.
And since we're talking momentum, don't you think getting those 5 guys in one day is likely to factor in for other recruits? If we get all 5, that'll be 6 of the last 6 commits that are 5* recruits on at least one service or another, including a couple Top 10 players nationally. It's a pretty big deal.

Moreso than coming in during garbage time in a blowout against Kent State would've shown us anything.
Don't you think the coaches have a clue as to what he can do? Those "3 throws" were in the closing minutes of an SEC game, with time running out, and 99 friggin yards between us and victory. Yeah, those "3 throws" showed my WAY more than anything he would've done against Furman.

I think it showed the future in how LSU has a great balanced young team. We need to show the same on 1/1. 5 for 5.
