That's great hopefully U-High can get to the championship this year.Like Karr did for the last three years.

Sorry dude. I don't have a whole lotta respect for any team or athlete that ducks an opponent. This is my first time hearing this, but if Karr lobbied to be excluded from the select schools for fear of facing stiff competition, then their bragging rights have officially been revoked! To be the best you have to beat the best! That's the very reason I would love to see my son and his teammates at U-High face the mighty Curtis! I think Curtis would get an arse whoop'n they wouldn't expect!

Nah, Karr has their share of recruited ringers.

I'm with you wildman. Considering that we've been eliminated by Curtis twice, Calvary and ECA, the very teams the whole LHSAA gerrymandered this joke of a new system around, I don't think our kids need to hang our heads.

its actually called "Pass Skeleton Drills" but in any event. if it is so useless then why do EVERY football program both major and minor use it as part of their practice period.

its not useless as a drill and getting better as a team

its useless to fight over bragging rights based upon who wins a 7 on 7.

He means that it's meaningless because a BR based school whipped a NO based school. Besides being a troll on several boards, LE is a big-time NOLA homer.

ETA: considering where Karr is projected for 2013 and the number of skill players they have being recruited, we don't regard it as being meaningless.

If I were responsibe for making out U-High's schedule I'd load it up with every team from the New Orleans area that thinks they are special and kick the shite outta them one by one, week by week. So maybe they will finally shut up!

You know what I could certainly agree. But considering the fact that Karr showed up in an attempt to win the 7 on 7 Championship themselves I would think that Issuing Bragging rights are in order...

Karr had a tremendous amount of speed and athleticism on the field yesterday. That was apparent by the way they dismantled every team they faced with quick hitches. Their receivers caught the ball and squirted upfield for touchdowns like they were playing themselves...

Da "U" on the other hand had to literally battle East St John 3 times before moving on to Tuerlings Catholic who presented themselves as a worthy opponent by driving the ball down to our goal line twice before our defense shut them down.

Karr came into the game fresh and eager but our pass defense was unrelenting....our route running and play calling was done on a surgeons scalpel. Karr simply could not handle the Cubs yesterday...so as I said earlier issuing bragging rights are in order! And we do deserve to brag at least until July 20th when we do this again at Tiger Field!

I figured they were in another meeting with Winnfield's principal on how they can set up the playoff system to make sure they don't have to play Curtis or ECA.
