I think Clifton may have something to say about that.

Clifton plays defense. They can both wear #3

You can have 2 # 3's as long as they arent on the field at the same time. This is college not NFL

I've seen this at other schools but has lsu allowed this before?Trying to remember. I see duplicates with some of the squad players but not starters.

Perilloux and kelvin sheppard wearing #11 was the most notable example.

Don't be surprised if you have (2) 3's and (2) 7's next year...Before LF took 7 this year KTII once said the staff told him they would let him wear the #7

"What is Perilloux doing on defense/kick-off coverage!?!?!?!" was the greatest refrain for years.

they changed this also. If 2 different players, with the same #, line up in the same position, it is a 15 yard penalty, and the first guy is supposed to be disqualified, once the second guy lines up. Ole Miss ran into this last year with RN moonlighting in the backfield.

Yeah, I used to find it funny when the announcers would confuse KS and RP. They would say something like, "I can't believe LSU has their QB phenom making tackles on kickoffs!"
