Apparently Oklahoma is trying to make a last minute run at him. Their LB coach visited him today. He was scheduled to visit Ole Miss, but canceled that last week.

Yeah, depth chart and LB coach still favors LSU. I guess Tuesday at his school he will announce.

Well apparently the "experts" weren't impressed. He got 9 CBs to LSU today with the last at 7:43PM.

When will OU learn? If they're gonna get into a recruiting war with LSU over a defensive player, especially one that plays the position that LSU's DC is known to personally mentor and develop.... they're at a genuine disadvantage.
They could compete and probably win against us all day for many offensive skill players, but defensively?? Good luck, Oklahoma. Maybe you'll get lucky.

i don't have any real insight into the situation, but i just don't see how we could.
we had a good relationship with him, but kind of cooled because we were set with phillips. now we are making this late push.
i guess us getting back into the fold depends on whether or not his pride allows it. surely we are pitching a shot at early playing time that he may not get at LSU now.

Even after Philips, there is still PT available early inside. Devin White is really our only true ILB right now. Donnie Alexander is passable, but is more of a tweener there. Philips and Taylor would both see the field, along with those two. Even if he didn't get more then mop up in year one, they would both likely play special teams and a lot of the remaining upperclassmen will be gone after 2017.
