That kid is nasty. However, a few of those clips looked like he was playing against Freshmen teams. Those poor kids didn't stand a chance against that beast. Will definitely be one to keep an eye on though.

Correct. Those were all freshmen teams. He’s come a long way in one year. He was big(obviously)in 8th grade, but he acted somewhat timid during games. I’m eager to see how good he is by the time he’s a SR.

Looks solid for a freshman. Hopefully he and Martinez from EA continue this run on Louisiana OL we’ve had

Weighing over 300 pounds as a freshman is concerning. For example, Campbell weighed around 250. Hopefully he can maintain his weight and continue to progress.

Definitely one to keep a eye on but he's just a really big kid playing with much smaller kids. I get they all are freshmen but he's 60 to 70 pounds more than the other kids. His technique needs improvements, he stands straight up. Good news, he's got a mean streak that can be taught and technique can.

It has been a decade since West Monroe sent LSU a player other than a punter. The program is a shell of what it used to be and this was the program that sent LSU the most players from 1995-2011.

Don't worry about this young man...or about his weight! This kid will be ready by his Sr year. Great student, excellent manners, and comes from a very solid family where education is a priority #1. He's still very young, and is pretty much still learning the game. Oh, and might I add... he's bled purple and gold since birth! I've been patiently waiting for this day when his name would be mentioned on this site!

I brought him and some others to LSU this past Spring. Measured 6’2” 292 I believe. He’s working out with varsity now, so the baby fat will be long gone before he leaves WM. Just a freshman, he will be coached up and ready to go next year.

He’s a good kid, can’t wait to watch his development. Big things ahead for Big Tye!
Special freshman group at WM.
Several prospects should come out of that class.
