Kevin Curtis anyone?

I remember this guy having a huge night for Utah State against the Tigers in TS.

LINK

Injuries cut his NFL career short but he put up some serious numbers in only 81 games.

Receptions 252
Receiving yards 3,291
Receiving average 13.1
Receiving TDs 20

Trey Quinn actually = Hakeem Nicks. Easily the best comparison.

It's completely possible Quinn can grow another 2-4 inches while on campus

At this point, we need to compile a list of all white wide receivers who have played in the NFL in the last 20 years:

Wes Welker
Erin Decker
Julian Edelman
Ryan Swope (almost)
Matt Jones
Ed McCaffrey
Bill Schroeder
Joe Jurivicius
Wayne Chrebet
Ricky Proehl
Dwight Clark
Cris Collinsworth
Steve Largent

Okay, so if any of you feel the need to start a thread, this is a good place to find a pigment-challenged wide receiver for a rock solid comparison to Trey Quinn. I will update if anyone else thinks of any fantastic comparisons.

hate to be captain obvious, but you're missing one very obvious one... Fred Biletnikoff.

Trey will be Trey. And Trey is good. Trey just may end up being great. He has the tools.

What's exciting about Quinn is that everyting I've read mentions him as a very good route runner. You don't often find a guy with good size, speed and precision route skills. Usually the burners just try to out run DBs and the tall guys simply out muscle or jump. If he does grow taller and he'll definitely pack on muscle once he gets to campus he could be the guy everyone ends up talking about in the next few years out of LSU's WRs.

He's also a lot like Lance Alworth, Raymond Berry, Dwight Clark and Steve Largent.
