Didn't realize that we recruited and offered him out of High school. Funny he somehow lost 2 inches in height between his recruitment and now

He's currently a junior, right? So he only has one year of eligibility?

I don't see the upside here except for added depth if we think there is a possibility of Jennings transferring.

Miles isn't going to start a transfer with only one year of eligibility.

Am I the only one that doesnt really want this guy? He was no better than Harris was this year last season.

Huge upgrade to qb woes it would be ashame to not win a National Championship in this L. Fournette era of LSU.

Dude is not an upgrade over Harris. I don't care what anyone says. Harris will be better than him with another year of development. The guy has barely been at LSU 2 years coming in incredibly raw and already saw big development jumps in a single year. I'd rather us take a young project QB than Knight.

I hope he goes to UNC. He is terrible.

Trevor Knight in 2014- 56.6%, 14 TD, 12 Int, 2300 yards.

Knight was terrible last season. The OU staff got Mayfield to transfer in for a reason.

I like his quick decisions. We obviously only see the correct ones in a hype video, but he still exudes an incrediblw amount of confidence; something lacking in our current starting QB. I would love to see him come to LSU.

Fans need to realize that playing QB at a high level takes game reps. Harris has played 12-13 games and for most of those he just handed the ball off. Look at the three losses this year. two 5th yr senior qb's and a 4th year jr qb beat LSU. There just arent that many desean watson's or josh rosen's out there. It takes time. The issue is not having an experienced qb in there while the younger guys grow. All that on top of the poor offensive philosophy at LSU. Well maybe it has to be when you are breaking in green qb's every year. SUCKS!

This guy gets it. If Knight was a all-Big 12 QB this would be a different story. He didn't play because he lost the qb job. In a different scenario, it would be like Jennings transferring to Oklahoma.

Good for depth if we get him but LSU is in a sad state of affairs if we are banking on him leading this team.

What?

Knight lost his job to a guy who finished 4th in Heisman balloting.
