Some rumors on the twitter machine said Malik was definitely picking Kentucky... Not surprising cause they've been the frontrunner for a while, but some rumblings today had him #BBN bound. Still hopeful we get a shot at him.

Are there any recruits left on LSU's radar who can play in the post. With all our guards coming back and Martin/Mickey possibly leaving, it seems like a 4/5 guy might be the best fit...that is unless this Malik Newman interest is for real

Not to be the negative guy but I have no confidence the Malik Newman interest in real. I'd say he was more there to watch UK than he was LSU tbh.

Not a negatiger at all if you look at my post history. Not at all. Just know he isn't coming to LSU. His father went to MSU and is a driving force. If he goes to any non National school, that will likely be the place. I an honored and glad we got a visit and will likely get an official, speaks volumes to the growth of the program. However, it would be the most shocking signing I could ever recall if he comes to LSU. I've followed the kid since his frosh year (coached against him) and have spoke to him numerous times since. It just kinda is what it is with him. Not a knock on LSU.
