Nope, didn't say NOLA was my rock solid source but at least I named it didn't I? The other "sources" for Arkansas were not named other than the 24/7 CBs which have finished second most of the time to another ball...the Magic 8 ball.

You've only mentioned NOLA which is about as reliable as the Magic 8 ball.

Just saying. I posted messages about specific players and in consecutive responses by the same poster, I got these as his 2 complete messages:

#1 message "pump that sunshine!"

#2 message "Pump it up!"

Just be nice for the new guy not to be held to different standards. This guy had 11,000+ posts. Hopefully, they weren't all of this ilk.

No more unreliable than the CBs. Have you ever checked the individual predictions where they mark the checkmarks or the Xs. Not exactly Hall of Fame accuracy and of course they give them the right to change their predictions all the time too.

I think the Magic 8 Ball beats everyone.

That's because when you get in early on a prediction, you get more points. I'm sure if there was a straight up yes or no, 1 point per correct guess, then these guys wouldn't CB kids so early in a process and percentages would be higher.

That explains some of the "out of the box" predictions. Almost looks like they also get extra points for being in the "minority". But yeah, I see some early, early predictions where the guys have 5 visits and have taken 0 of them.

Valentine is going to blow peoples mind. The coaches said he was physically ready this year. Trey L. has also looked great in practice.

I hope so, but we were getting reports of Herron dominating practices last year as well. Hopefully they aren't blowing smoke and we can get back to rotating 4-5 guys at DT that will all make opposing OL's wish they had taken up soccer.

We have 3 silents right now. Key, Dillon and Gibson...based on the tea leaves I have read.

But we know how that works out

Shea was asked today in fact to do a piece after NSD about "silents" LSU has had over the years that ended up signing elsewhere. he mentioned 5 for 5 today as an example of "You don't really want to know"

What I like today is the fact that Coach O is on board . he is very hard to resist.

If a kid commits to him , he isn't letting go. The full pressure will be put on them...if they waiver.

Lots of kids have tried to pass on a commitment to Saban come signing day and he simply didn't let it happen

We had Trent Richardson flipped on NSD...until Saban caught wind of the developments...sent a crew down to his HS that morning.

Got to close!

I think we have a closer in Coach O...so my optimism is greater than it has been.

Mixed reviews on Gibson...great athlete but looks like a project at QB... LSU / Miles can't really afford more projects

Yeah, that Herron deal was puzzling. Les Miles is smart to not talk up any possible weakness...if you say you have a weakness, you gain nothing by doing that. But I am surprised when he goes out of the way to embellish someone because of course that is bad also. Maybe Herron had good practices and an injury occured, etc. Because he surely wasn't used much during the season.

I have read NOLA enough to know that joke. The Duckie here apparently was rumored to be James Smith...Smith does have a userid here, but Duckie "ain't" it.
