Last time I talked to Kenny he was still pretty undecided and wanted to wait till after the season so he could focus on the season. He said he would commit earlier if he felt he needed to.

Nothing to do with me thinking we won't get him. But if you show out against the best DB's. while competing against the best WR's, you don't shy away. I think the other receivers made him look a lot more human and he didn't like worrying about competing for a spot. We don't need people like that.
If that's the case of course. Players get better by competing against the best. If he wants to compete, then by all means, I think he has what it takes. But nobody is given spots on elite teams.

I love his film. But I find it strange that he felt uncomfortable enough to make public comments about it. He should look at it as a way to prepare himself for the next level. He will face some of the best DB's in the country at practice everyday. Competition can only make you a better player. LSU plays more players in a game than most teams. Depth in the SEC is crucial to a teams success.

Few months ago I would've said he was a lock.. I'm not sure if the staff isn't that high on him or vice versa. Really havent heard much info about him. Maybe Hootie is versatile enough to fill a LB/S spot?

Kenny is a freak who would probably be playing d end at many high schools. I'm surprised he doesn't have an offer. Although, I was chastised by a few posters back in Feb when I said the Curtis kids are looking hard out of state. All 4 of the top kids from Curtis are/were looking hard out of state including UCLA and fsu. I think Malachi will stay in state though, but he will travel to oos schools for visits till the end of his recruitment. I think they may even visit fsu before summer ends.

No way no how, I guarantee you he will be a tiger, an LSU tiger, and had already said a week and a half to two weeks ago that he was going to commit December 28th. He wants to be an LSU tiger. And he will be a damn fine LSU tiger. The coaches already know it. It is just that he wants to enjoy his recruitment while he can. Please do not start rumors that he does not want to go to LSU or he is unhappy with the way LSU treated him or whatever. That is total nonsense. If anything he is not happy with the way the reporter leaked his guaranteed commitment... Anthony
