It is looking more and more like LS to USC and that LSU will probably take bodies at this point and Blue and Gore are the backs LSU will take. But that LS and Blue are the ones they want.

I don't know how anyone can say they know where this kid is going.

They don't know. Seastrunk recently told him directly "Naw man, don't listen to everything you hear" when asked if he was going to SC.
These guys are just shite stirring.

Yep. ANd he's the "it" guy right now. The good news is that if USC is courting him, his national ranking will go up.

If he doesn't come here, that would be the only other college I would rather him head to

Exactly, not to give prem info, but in that article with rivals the other day, he was specifically asked about SC, he said people are just making assumptions.

Rather see him at Oregon if he's not in P&G.

Dont be shocked if he goes to USC.....all these recruitnicks said that Reed was all LSU unitl the end and he went to Auburn.....no one knows who is going where unitl they sign....recrutiing gurus are like weathermen........they can never get it right until the day after
Posted on 11/19/09 at 8:57 pm to SOCAL TIGER
Reed is not at Auburn yet playa, hes still playing high school football

i've already convinced myself that LSU would only give lache 3-4 touches a game so i won't really care if he ends up going somewhere else.

RS is averaging more than 7 ypc but averaging less than 5 touches a game
Despite all the hype during his freshman season KW averaged about 5 touches a game.
Sorry I just dont see Miles giving LS any more than 5-6 touches a game next year if he decides to come. But I'm pretty sure I read somewhere he wants to play extensively in his freshman season. I wont be too surprised if he goes elsewhere.

Do you really think LS is going to say, "Yup, all those rumors are definitely true. You guys have me figured out already!"
Even if they were true? USC insiders don't just randomly blow smoke up everyone's arse, why would they need to? If their is one school that can out recruit LSU, its definitely USC.

I would think USC is also one of the worst places to go if that is the case.

PC has shown over and over again that he has no reservations playing true freshmen. He puts the best talent on the field regardless of seniority. No one should be surprised if LS chooses USC after all PC will sell him as being the next Reggie Bush.

"McKnight served as an often-used backup tailback and was USC's top punt returner as a first-year freshman in 2007. Overall in 2007 while appearing in all 13 games (he even started against Illinois), he ran for 540 yards on 94 carries (5.7 avg.) with 3 touchdowns, caught 23 passes for 203 yards (8.8 avg.) with 1 TD and returned 19 punts for 160 yards (8.4 avg.)"

Bush proved to be an impact player as a first-year freshman reserve tailback in 2003. Overall in 2003 while appearing in all 13 games, he ran for 521 yards on 90 carries (5.8 avg.) with 3 TDs, had 15 receptions for 314 yards (20.9 avg.) with 4 TDs, had a team-best 18 kickoff returns for 492 yards (27.3 avg.) with a TD and returned 2 punts for 4 yards (2.0 avg.)

As just a first-year freshman tailback, White emerged by the middle of the 2003 season as USC's top runner while coming off the bench. Overall in 2003 while appearing in all 13 games, he ran for a team-high 754 yards on 141 carries (5.3 avg.) with 13 TDs, plus he had 6 catches for 15 yards (2.5 avg.) with 1 TD and 2 tackles. He had a trio of 100-yard games

I think I heard somewhere where USC is starting a Freshman QB as well
If I were an impact freshman, I would def reconsider coming to LSU until this offensive illness is corrected.

And you see what starting a freshman quarterback has done for USC. You rarely ever win a conference or national title when you have to start freshman.

the question surrounding LM is whether he will play the best players. none of us is at practice
but there are questions about rb rotation, ol playing time, rr, rs useage. recruits see this as well. no way LS plays more than RS has played as a freshman.

unless seastrunk gains 50lbs and runs up the middle every play he won't get more than 5 touches a game from Les

isn't Gore a big LSU fan and dying to come to Baton Rouge ... why wouldn't they jump on him? Isn't he quite fast?
