The camp was this past weekend and several LSU targets/commits stood out.

quote:

Saahdiq Charles, OT, Madison (Miss.) Madison-Ridgeland – Warren: "He looks better and better every time you see him. He really doesn't know what he's doing. When he learns what he's doing that kid will be big time." Charles is committed to LSU.

quote:

Kelvin Joseph, CB, Class of 2018) – Warren: "Ya'll have got him ranked right for the right reason. The only rep he lost yesterday was to DevontaSsmith and that ain't shabby. Kelvin is bigtime." Joseph is an LSU commit.

no, I wouldn't really say he's partial to any one school.

I think State is his school, if he has one.

Really really want Devonta Smith. Camp MVP!

quote:

Though the camp was based in Mississippi, a Louisiana native was the top dog. Devonta Smith out of Amite (La.) High School took home overall MVP honors from the event. He's been as smooth as any receiver in this 2017 class and he backed up 247Sports' five-star rating with his performance on Sunday. He's ranked as the No. 3 receiver in the country on 247Sports but No. 10 at his position according to 247Sports Composite. We expect the industry to agree with us eventually.

Another to keep an eye on.

quote:

Tahj Brown, DL, Donaldsonville (La.) HS (Class of 2018) – Warren: "Athletic, quick. He's got a little size at about 6-3. He's going to be an inside guy long term." Brown is still waiting on his first offer.
