Can somebody clear up the issue about Cox's grades and eligibility to use the portal?

Graf transfers have to meet certain academic standards. I believe a 2.5 gpa. Cox did not meet that requirement (or is below it and they’re trying to get him in some extra courses to get above it).

Eric Wilson, the Harvard GRAD transfer, would not be able to come here because of that.

What Cox did, as far as I know, does not affect regular transfers. Just grad transfers.

Hope that helps

Also have to be admitted to a graduate program and taking classes/hours towards that graduate degree.

That's not something you pull off by calling the registrars office the day before.

That's why grad transfers take a little time and the teleportal should be the last step, not the first.

You’re tired of college

Terrance Alexander, a fricking Stanford graduate, pulled the same shite.

Granted he was at Curtis before so you can’t say it’s too big of a surprise

Dollar to a donut that Chase, Shelvin, Vincent, Marshall, were all tired of school and quit going to classes.
Hope I'm wrong though.

A big part of why they opted out was so they could get money from an agent now and go work out to get ready for the combine. So yes, they definitely were not going to class (Marshall might have finished out the semester).

The further removed we get from the Marshall departure the more I understand it. in his announcement he made it clear his goal was to retire his parents. We were at a point in the season where a normal year would be over and he’d be signing with an agent to prepare for the combine. I’ll never fault someone for wanting to take care of their family.
