Please don't feel sorry for me, you're the generation that will have to live with a very uncertain future. I'm very happily retired and will be dead and gone when the shite hits the fan

The movie "Blind Side"

This movie is forbidden in my home. I cannot and will not watch the Alabama coach act like he is the LSU coach.

The book, however, is very well-written and a good read for people interested in the 2 class society that exists in Memphis, the recruiting process, and the evolution of the left offensive tackle as the second most important (and second best compensated in the NFL) offensive player.

EVERYONE'S future has ALWAYS been uncertain. Just because when you were younger the media reported mostly propaganda doesn't mean stuff wasn't going down as hard as it is now. We just know more now and then conspiracy theorist run with it. Relax, we are gonna be just fine. I don't blame you pops....your grand-father's generation did the same to you.

thanks for doing your best to leave us with clean air and water, natural resources protected and conserved, constructive political discourse, inclusive and fair civil policies, and educated money management practices.

oh wait. your generation screwed us! thanks for that.

I actually think things will improve as the Baby Boomers shuffle out of here. Their idiotic gridlock is hamstringing the country right now. No offense, grandmike.
