Devin White is lights out fast and will be jacked on the feild next year. The key for A Key is 20 sacks! Let's continue to finish strong sign more defensive studs. M.Wilson,P. Mathis, K.Chaisson, J Harris, A. Robertson B. Jones maybe some flips from other schools. Go Tigers!

Our defensive line is gonna be nasty next year

I couldn't agree more.
I lterally had to rewind the play in which he brought down Jackson in the open field with barely one hand. Stretching all the way out to get to him.
The sack was him hustvgoing straight beast mode.

My only question is why isnt he playing more? is it because donnie alexander knows the calls?

Honest question. Does anyone recall an SEC LB as big as Devin (I'm guessing he's about 250 lbs) that was faster? Maybe Jevon Kearse (UF late 90's)?

I agree that Devin White is a stud and I don't understand how he stayed off the field as much as he did this year. It's nice to see one stud go to the NFL and we have another stud to replace him. Devin is going to be an absolute beast next year for LSU! Come on Marvin join the fun!

Hope Devin displays more class and has better sportsmanship than Foster, who is a dirty player.

Yeah Devin White is a great player

Reuben Foster
Hard hitter and great LB. But I think he cut some weight this year and I think Devin would still smoke him in a 40 yard and 100m race.
Patrick Willis would be another in this discussion.

that's what all the rantards said about beckwith in defense of he who shall not be named
Calling the defensive sets is a lot to ask of any freshman. Aranda even moved him to the other ILB spot for this game so he could play without having to worry about that. However, he said this week that White will move to the Mike spot for next season. He will have the Spring to get used to calling the shots.

You can't appreciate how fast Devin White is if you never saw him run track in high school. Very fast and very odd looking doing it at 240 lbs.

Yeah, you have zero ways of knowing this and you're talking out of your arse
Beckwith started here as a converted DE who struggled with calling the sets early on, too. Worked out pretty well, in the end. Cut White a little slack.

He has all the talent, and Aranda has worked extensively with him, and you can see the talent and improvement. Aranda's 1 gap system isn't hard, and now that its starting to be implemented, he's going to take off and look all world, cause there's not much to think about...

You don't understand? Look who was in front of him. Riley and Beckwith were not exactly cream puffs. It's entirely possible he didn't really grasp the defense until recently being a true freshman and all converting himself to a new position...nah that has nothing to do with it at all.
I remember before this season started I said you guys will be surprised at the amazing athleticism this guy has at LB. It's not all surprising they didn't play him as much this year though. Can't expect a converted RB to grasp an entire defensive concept immediately no matter how athletic he is...
Considering astronomical jump Riley had in performance you should be excited what Aranda can do with White. Enjoy it while you can because someone is going to give Aranda a HC job soon. I hope if he succeeds wherever he goes he eventually ends up back at LSU. I really like Aranda a lot. You can tell how intelligent he is with his schemes. He adjusts it based on player strengths and I can give you many examples as to how. Just look at how he used Dwayne Thomas this year who was struggling before.
