You are one of my favorite posters here.

Love the joking around.
Just be careful because there's some dude with a stick up his arse that frowns on this...
And I'm stoked about this OL.

They can make an average QB look like Joe Montana...

Dont forget about JOVONTE DOMOND. He is currently on the Roster as a sophomore.

I think he was being recruited for this year but ideally, he got counted for last year's numbers.

So counting Domond and Shipley, I count seven OL.

What a haul.

2015 OL.

Jonah Austin 6-6 330 sr
Chidi Valentine-Okeke 6-6 315***

Vadal Alexander 6-6 330 sr
Garrett Brumfield 6-4 310 so
Maea Teuhema 6-4 310 fr***

William Clapp 6-5 300 so
Andy Dodd 6-4 315 so

I don't see any of them playing this year, maybe one at the most. Hawkins, Alexander, and Pocic, will be joined in the lineup by two of Boutte, Dodd, Malone, Domomd, Clapp, Brumfield, and Austin. The remaining five will be the primary back ups. If a new one beats out any of those guys he is either outstanding and mature beyond his age or some of the players listed are not developing well. All of the above OLs have age, weight room, and practice experience advantages. They are ahead in the zone scheme under Grimes as well. These advantages are more important to an OL than most other positions. La'el hardly played as a true freshman. Vadal played because of injuries and Pocic played because the OL was thin. Hopefully LSU has enough quality depth to allow the new ones to learn and gain or lose weight while adding strength during their red shirt year.

I would think that Austin would start, or at least split reps, spring ball as the RT.

ETA: That would put our starting OL averaging 6'6" an 320lbs.

He looks like the 30 year old Godchaux. Chidi looks like a grown man.
