I don't know how any LSU fan could be terribly disappointed if Kenny Young didn't sign with us. He has been pretty clear through the whole process that he is probably going out of state. Given that we are still in it at all at this point is more of a surprise in my opinion.

He's rated as the 1140th best player in the 247 composite. What do the coaches see that would justify an offer? Is he underrated? Just curious.

I fully understand why someone would be positive about him, but I would believe the same would be true for Noil, Willis and Brown. We know how that worked out. If he picks the Tigers, Ill be the first one to say I was wrong, I just have a bad feeling about all of these Nola prospects this year.

Well everyone would be disappointed with that outcome. But if we get only Dupre and Valentine out of these, I wouldn't be sad.

Same here. Confident this staff will add 4 quality players with Dupre and Valentine.

Maybe for Willis (but, seriously, that family we should have been worried...) but there was allot of smoke in the air about Noil and Brown going to A&M and Bama respectively before they announced. I don't believe that you could say the same about Dupre leading up to signing day. He enjoyed his visit to FSU but, you know, allot of great prospects enjoyed their trips to Baton Rouge and that doesn't mean they signed with LSU. The depth chart, distance, and just how LSU would use him make Dupre a likely signee in my opinion. Maybe he goes somewhere else but I don't believe the degree of pessimism is warranted.

He has certain skill set and the staff likes his potential. He's rangy and is excellent getting to the Qb on blitz schemes or as a standup rush backer. He doesn't look like a fish out of water when dropping into coverage too, he gives Chavis a lot to work with.

I like this McCray kid, he could possibly be a diamond in the rough type.

He's been training his entire offseason with Patrick Peterson. Been putting in work in the gym with the former Ely and Tiger corner.

Had 110 tackles to go along with his 19 sacks this past season.

Fair enough, but he's listed at 6'2", 215 lbs and running a 4.70 40 at ILB on 247. If that's accurate, that's an impressive high school athlete.
