i'm using my free 7-day membership to the Auburn board to watch some clips of our recruits

TM seriously looks, and runs, just like skyler. i don't know if he has skyler's top-end speed prior to being moffitized, but his size, upright style and elusiveness is almost a clone of ole sky sky

Could Skyler have played TB? 'Cause isn't that where Magee projects?

Also, awesome young Skylar or fat old Skylar?

I think he's a little more RB than Skylar who was a little more WR. I can see the comparison though. It's actually a realistic one.

Skyler was faster, quicker, much weaker. I have watched Ty play a few times and his style to me is more of a Domanick Davis. Pretty elusive but not going to juke you out your socks, just enough to use his strength to get by you. As a QB his biggest asset was his composure, was always looking downfield and made a lot of big throws after scrambling for awhile. Never got rattled.

I like the comparison. Skylar def. had top end speed on TY TY, but I'm thinking the quickness is pretty close. I'm betting Ty Ty is tougher to bring down then Skylar was, so it might even out. Ty Ty has amazing balance. Check out Josh Robinson while you are looking at Franklinton. Kid would have been a real nice home run threat for us. Scare's me a bit that he will be in Mullen's offense.

naw. skyler was elusive b/c he was a good runner. when he had to change direction it wasn't exceptionally smooth

it's more the running style than a physical limitation

I watched him live in the Dome the last 2 years. He has way more arse than Skyler. The kid is thick.

I saw TM play in the Dome. He seems bigger than Green was. TM's ability to stop/start and break off of his cuts are amazing. Doubt he'll have the top end speed Green had, but I think that he cuts at least as good, and will be more powerful. He actually threw the ball pretty well.
