I just don't see Rodgers as a fit...
With Turner/OBJ/Fobbs/Landry... too many small WRs.
BUT if it gets us "Across the BRIDGE" then I am game... He can have Botts spot.

Cooper is probably going to get him (OBJ)at a DB IMO, but you may be right. Eli isn't bad, got some good hands. I'd offer him, just to get a B/U for Metts in a few years. Also, what if Metts blows-up and leaves early?? We need the pipeline, and you go after a 5 star QB with everything within the rules.

Honestly LSU is probably one of the only programs that you are scared to get so many guys because you know that they may never see the field with all the talent we have. I love it

Bridgewater would be perfect to finish up at QB. We woud have the immediate starter in Mettenberger, the very talented freshman in Bridgewater (Who could contribute at WR in meantime) and then the project freshman with a high ceiling in Rivers.
