This may have something to d with a coach not allowed to make contact with recruits until he is officially on the staff. When did Aranda actually become an LSU employee?

With Aranda though, it would be better with him to meet in person to show exactly how he would fit in his scheme instead of trying to convey it over the phone

Wasnt Coach O in contact with recruits before officially on staff?

Aranda has been busy though. He was in Wisconsin with family packing up. Then had to come back to Baton Rouge, find house, get the family settled and into school. He was looking at film in the time he was away but when he was in town he was out with Frank meeting recruits.

He really hasnt had much a chance to call 80+LSU defensive targets

He was out of coaching that previous year so maybe that has something to do with it, but I still think Aranda is officially on the staff

Coach O wasn't coaching football. So he could talk to whomever he wanted at any given time.

Just saying it's different. I don't know what the rules and stuff are.
