That's just the feeling I get. There is not one piece of specific information that leads me to think it, just a bunch of little stuff.

I could be completely wrong

The more I learn about the Patterson family, the happier I am they won't be associated with LSU over the next 3-4 years.

The only thing wrong would be telling players they will get a bump in the rankings if they play on that team...if that is true

They just seem sketchy to me. The first red flag was using the kid to get a job for the older brother, and now this. No problems with the kid, he's a great talent. But his family entourage is something I'd rather not have around the LSU program.

I worked at the same paper as David Johnson while I was in college. That was 20 years ago. No coincidence that his son is named Eli. I'm all for people getting to do what the love, but he's a piece of work and clearly cannot be objective.
The guy would want to fight you if you said the slightest negative thing about OM. We used to f with him almost daily about it.

Johnson is the one who is spreading the Patterson propaganda that LSU had Shea kicked off of his 7 on 7 team "simply for committing to Ole Miss" even though Bama commits etc play on that same team. The Patterson dad is absolutely a monster wanting money and free handouts from everyone and having the older, talentless son leach off of the younger brother.

Reminds me of Tate Forcier and his family while he played at Michigan.

Bro

7x7 turned into AAU a long time ago. People are just now realizing it.

If you don't think (insert your power program here) isn't running a similar program then I feel for you.

It's the American way.

the kid may pan out...and then again maybe he won't. QB at this level is one of the most difficult positions to judge........as LSU fans, we all know this already. He may do well, but I have a sneaky hunch that there is too much bs behind this entire family deal...and usually those type of things end up getting what is coming....karma

Oh yea. Its been widely noted that the father has tried orchestrating Sean's career trying to use Shea. This is just another instance that lends credence to that notion.

Guys... we all need to remember one thing. At the end of the day its still Ole Miss. They can have 22 five stars and still be irrelevant.

Isn't Willie Lyles back to being involved with recruiting again in Texas? Thought I read something about him, a 7v7 squad, and Eric Monroe.

The Ole Miss 247 writer is telling kids if they play for the Thoroughbreds (The Patterson's 7 on 7 team), they'll get bumps in their rankings.
Sean Patterson Sr is running

Lol. Coaches give 0 fricks about rankings. and the Coaches decide who gets offers . Therefore, go ahead, bump their rankings, just watering down the rankings for everyone and also screwing their own fans out of a (as close to subjective as possible ) objective view of their team's talent pool in comparison to other sec schools.
