No, I'm saying that he's an egotistical jackass who would insult one school and demand his mother "open dat up". That show was nothing less than a 3 ring circus.

His unintelligible speak is mainly just funny and a sign of ignorance. I'm sorry to think that you believe all black kids talk like that. Maybe you should watch some Russell Shepard interviews.

It's not that had to speak like a normal human. He chooses to speak that way.

I see alot of hypocritical posters in this thread. 60% of college football players talk like that, but we cheer for them every saturday anyway if they are on our team.

I'll try to give you a summary,,dstone12:

Apparently, he either has off the field problems or he doesn't want to go to school in Georgia. They aren't sure which. But they are going to play it safe and call him a thug because he'll probably have an overly dramatic press conference that will be hurtful to others. Plus he probably doesn't possess the oratory skills of Sir Russell Sheppard, who captivated the nation with his mastery of the English language when being interviewed at the Underarmour Game.

What would be the likely hood of one of the states top players declaring his disinterest in his state college (A consistant top 15 school mind you) this early? Why would a JR in highschool dismiss a team that early? There are no disadvantages I can think of for NOT doing it......so why? Doesnt even make sense. Which leaves the only other viable explanation more likely. JMO.

Ok, I can accept that it's more likely. But I still wish somebody knew what he did and could tell us.

There is a good chance you will never know. I'm no insider by any stretch but ive always heard stories about players (not rumors mind you). Alot of stuff gets swept under the proverbial rug. I have no doubt the same holds true for recruits. Possibly more so for them. If there is a pattern and no published or recorded arrests, the teams usually run a kid off rather than draw attention to him and the university.....let him transfer and save face gracefully.

It is alot easier to gamble on a already proven talent in the college ranks...See C. Collens who had several run in's witht the campus police over inapropriate behavior that was swept under the rug and kept quite......and of course RP. It is a lot easier to cut ties with a recruit from the start.

Wasnt it Ambles that had been expelled from one or two schools and suspended at his new one already?

The Big-Out-There-Rumor:

Supposedly, he slept with an older woman when he was 15.

The rumor doesn't detail if she was a teacher, but he transferred from Griffin HS to McDonough HS. One rumor says he was expelled from Griffin, thus the teacher insinuation/connection, but another says he was expelled for cheating, none of which can be confirmed with facts or news links.

Unsure if he isn't getting the Georgia offer because of rumors of lying to police for the chick, and/or not being honest with Richt's staff about any of these issues (ie: lying, cheating, expulsions,etc..), but most point to Georgia not offering as the big red flag. Others think , "So what? He slept with an older woman. Who wouldn't have at 15?"

In Georgia, I think a female adult having sex with an under aged boy is a Class II felony, can get you up to 50 years in prison which could explain why someone would cover for his hot date if this rumor has even a hint of truth.

Ambles himself says he has a GPA of 2.9 and an 18 on the ACT so grades don't appear to be the issue.

Take all of this with a grain of salt.

Yeah, but how many of those players treat their mother like a worthless servant?

Well, assuming you have a decent mother, I suggest you walk up to her, demand that she "open dat up" (Using anything. Personally, I would prefer a can of ravioli, but it can be at your discretion). You will then get the smack upside the head that you deserve and realize what I am talking about.

You talkin bout my momma, boy?

I think you're just reading too much into it, THF, i.e. looking for something negative to point out. We all know the kid is prolly lower class and obviously doesn't speak very well. That's half the population of Louisiana (and alabama, not trying to throw stones)
