Just read an article on Patrick Miller switching his commitment and said it was due to LSU having seven players enroll early but us only having five spots for the spring. Any word on who the other six were besides Gunner?

Alexander, Feist, Ferguson, and Lamar Louis to go along with Gunner.

The way understand it only 5 EE's can be scholarship players. Others can EE but have to pay their own way until at least the Summer. LSU had 5 graduate in December opening up 5 EE scholarships. Unfortunately, Miller was the odd man out and didn't want to pay his way......so from what I've heard. Can't really blame him on that IF he was told he'd have a scholly to EE. But, I could be wrong on this too. Maybe someone has a better answer than me?

Did we really tell the long snapper he could EE with a scholly but not a top tier offensive lineman??? what is the reasoning behind that?

A long snapper is an important piece, Crappell a walk on ended up beating out the schollied Russian so its hit or miss

Without Reid, we have no LS next season unless a long snapping ace like Crappell happens to show up in tryouts. It's better not to take chances.

Somebody was supposed to graduate and did not causing a shortage of available spots. It might have been the guy that did not play on Monday

yea but if he was always intent on enrolling early then he probably finished all of his requirements for high school and graduated. By the time LSU informed him of the situation he most likely had everything done and it wasn't a question of if he would early enroll but where

Why the HELL would the coaches give preferences to a thug like this, with obvious character issues, at a position at which we are stacked, over a solid o-lineman. Hill belongs nowhere near LSU. Cecil 2.0.

Good point until I heard, "Thug and Cecil 2.0"

What a douche, hate to see Miller go but Hill is a Les Miles type of running back
