Single game rushing record??

Wanted to know if anyone knew what LA's single game rushing record is???

Or where I could find that information out?

dude from WV ran for 658 in one game a few years ago

my guess is somewhere in the 500 range

Anthony Thomas from Winnfield had set it, not sure how much in the 550-600 range maybe, but if im not mistaken Taylor did top that against Barbe. correct me if im wrong

I believe if memory serves me that Thomas went for 490 and Taylor broke it with 505 or something close to that.

ok here is what i found Anthony Thomas's top games

and if you look at the high school section on this one Lucas Taylor now i know it doesnt say LA record but im almost positive that these are the top 2, i remimber when Thomas set it and when Taylor broke it, and i havent heard anything about a new one.

I know a guy From St. Ed's had like around 550 yards against a nobody team in like the 70s.

The guy from Saint Ed's was David Nezat. He went to USL on baseball scholly but blew out is knee.

Still don't understand what happened with Lucas Taylor. Kid begged to come to LSU and they deny him. Goes to Tennessee and puts up great numbers.

I graduated from SEH in 99' and I actually don't know if Nezat even played in the 70s. I just saw a record book one time and I know he had somewhere in the 500 yard range.

David Nezat had the single game rushing record at one time, it was over 500 yds. I think its been broken in the last decade but I don't know who currently has it.
