There’s a lot to like with Barrow. The 30 starts is a huge plus but his most recent season flashed really good production. 5.5 TFL’s and 3.5 sacks in 2023 is very much welcome here.

He has the bo davis specimen type of player written all over him and you pair him with jacobian guillory and you have a really good 1, 2 punch at DT....expect lsu to get this done rather quickly

If the rumors are true, yes, we had 1.5 millipn set aside for Brian thomas, mekhi wingo, and maason Smith to return to school. Plus we had like 1.5 million more collective NIL donations than expected for 2024. LSU paid CJ Daniels alot of money to come here so I'm sure he took brian Thomas's share, that leaves 1 million minimum dedicated for defense tackle.

There was always going to be better players in thr portal.
My main point was why not take one in the prior portal period when better players were there for the taking.

I like the Kent State guy but apparently the TCU guy is graded higher. Has anyone done a deep dive into their production?

Oh ok. Naw, I haven't I will wait until whoever commits to LSU to look at highlights just to check them out. Who else was we in mix for other than those 2, Barrow, and Blidi?
