Exactly. he hasn't had to coach an 18-19 year old green QB in 15 years. Teaching these guys the NFL level pro style offense and going back to basics, took him and will them, a while to adjust. When he got here, he taught Mett, a pretty much an NFL QB with several years in a pro style system and 1 gimme college class to take, and improved him how you would when you are tweaking a QB's skills in the NFL. Jennings and Harris have school, and adjusting from spread shotgun offenses to pro style under center offenses, takes much more time. Also, Jennings and Harris weren't the most developed QBs to begin with.

A guy like Franks could take a year to adjust and add 10 pounds, and he'll be ready to go. The thing I love about him, is that people say he looks more improved every time they see him. If needed, he'll be GTG as a redshirt freshman.
