The kid wants to pursue his dreams. I think he should do just that. LSU is wonderful but other places are nice too. We are sometimes blinded by our love for LSU to realize how nice other places are.
I hope he has a great career and loses four straight to LSU.

Fyi, Ponamsky just said on 104.5 that Patterson was set to commit to LSU at a camp until he practiced along side Franks who was at the same camp and was already committed. There was no talk of him coming to LSU after that camp. Patterson didn't want to compete with Franks. LSU has the better prospect and the better fit for LSU committed.

Lmao LSU fans will come up with anything to make themselves feel better about losing a great prospect. You heard that from a radio station? Who is his source? Probably something he heard. I promise Shea chose ole miss cause it fits him better. Just face it ole miss got a great prospect and so does LSU.

Look Calvary guy, your nuts are in a bind because people don't care that we didn't get Patterson (well at least I don't). If you were an LSU fan, you would enjoy the Franks threads regardless of what Shea did. Seems like you are more a fan of the high school, or that particular player, than LSU.

It's funny that he said that because it is KINDA true, but just in my opinion. Since Franks and Patterson competed In that camp there was absolutely no news about shea's interest In LSU. Before that when he decommitted from Arizona there was a lot of buzz about him and LSU. After the camp where he and Franks were running drills side by side, it seemed like his interest in the Tigers just plummeted and he wasnt a fan of the competition.
