Agree. Franks has ridiculous tools, and an extremely high ceiling. Good thing is he already plays under center in his offense, so that will aid his transition. while they are both impressive, I heard franks was a little more impressive at the camp. I also appreciate the fact that he wanted to be a tiger and committed early. He has not wavered one bit despite FSU and others beating down his door consistently. Want both, but I'm happy with Franks if we Shea wants to go elsewhere.

Shea seems like a good kid. However, it gets tiring when damn near everyone on here acts like getting him is make or break for us. We have Franks. I'm content with him. A guy who actually takes snaps from under center. And Eli Manning taught me that no matter how good of a QB Ole Miss has, they'll still be Ole Miss and won't win shite. Not scared. Not even a little. I would like Shea at LSU, but I won't lose any sleep if he decides to go somewhere else. As long as Franks is committed, I'm "Gucci" like these little mfrs around me say these days.

Cameron's offensive success with Mett/Beck/Landry makes me lean more to wanting Patterson over Franks in the class of 2016.
BUT.......
I'm totally 100% behind Franks. His desire to be a Tiger with his early commitment speaks volumes.... having a QB that has a strong arm, accurate and can run... gives me a chubby just thinking about it!!!
If Patterson commits to LSU the next debate will be who will starter!

Can we get this current class in the books first before we begin talking about MUST GETS in future classes?

LM: the decisions of "individual kids" is what males or breaks a program. Sorry if you don't like it but it is all about that. Jims and Joes not x's and o's!

Haha I get all that. I obviously love keeping up with recruiting or else I wouldn't be browsing this board.
Recruiting is the life blood of a program. However, it just seems a bit much to place this much on one kid a full year+ away from the first day he can sign somewhere.
If any one kid is make or break for the future of LSU's program then we probably have bigger problems.
I hope this kid ends up a Tiger like everybody else, but I'm not gonna stress about it this far out from NSD 2016.

Amen. Everyone across the country is on their hands and knees trying to land Patterson. LSU should be doing the same thing
