Be that as it may, the trend is undeniable. There has been a trend toward larger programs at the QB position. Forgot about Stephen Rivers Athens High. I think its 5A.
2011 22 Recruits (Stephen Rivers 5A)
1A 1 4.55%
2A 4 18.18%
3A 4 18.18%
4A 4 18.18%
5A 8 36.36%
6A 1 4.55%
2012 24 Recruits (Liggins from Lafayette HS)
3A & Below 33.33%
4A & Above 58.33%
Look for your QB at LSU to come from 4A or above. N-N-L (Numbers Never Lie)

I agree that it wasnt a fair fight. On another note, Scott kid played Bharris head-to-head. Scored 4 TDs and had Zachary within 8 points, with 2 mins left on the clock.
I like to see QBs come from school where half the players arent playing both ways and stuff. I know the kids cant control that, but it is what it is.

Yea, I saw that Parkway game... Wasn't impressed. But then I remembered that he had just arrived during the summer at Calvary and that he was just a baby Sophomore... I'm very interested to see him play Byrd, Parkway, and West Monroe as a Junior...
Time will tell.

Not sure if y'all have seen this or not. Texas apparently tried to invite him to camp by sending a letter to his coach, however they sent the letter to the coach that retired in 2008:

Might I remind some of you, this is a game at this stage. Saban ofers the small school qb, while it gets our attention, we then start focusing on the same kid... Meanwhile Saban scoops up our bigtime LA 5 stars

The thing is, Shea may be that 5 star.

Yeah, because the last 3 seasons have proven that Les goes after every LA kid that Saban offers

If only...but we've been over that ad nauseum.
