He grew up living the charmed life in L.A., Baton Rouge isn't going to seem too appealing no matter what his dad says.

I think growing up rich isn't going to play a role in choosing Baton Rouge over other cities. Knew plenty of rich kids that went to LSU

I can understand what everyone here is saying, However its not like him choosing LSU would be a total surprise.
His dad will properly relay what it was and has continued to be, a Big fish in a small pond as opposed to just another fish.

Or hire a trainer for weight gain (which I'm sure he already has) and sit a year and practice in nBA circles.
LSU has ZERO to offer this kid....literally nothing.
