I once played a pickup basketball game against the Baylor softball team at the Y in Hattiesburg.

Nah softball transfers don't usually get announced and can't think of LSU ever doing it for a transfer out.

Corbello will probably leave as well.
They have another pitcher coming in that's supposed to be good, with Hoover and Walljasper they saw the writing on the wall.

I think it was a given Corbello or Selman transferred. They want to play and with the talent we have already its very difficult, we have another elite pitcher coming in as well. It made sense. I wish her the best at Baylor. LSU will not miss a beat. This speaks volumes to the talent level here as well

There's a reason LSU advanced past the super regional round this season. Upgrade in pitching and Selman and Corbello are not elite level pitchers to get LSU to a World Series, Hoover and Walljasper are. They're smart enough to realize their opportunity to pitch meaningful games will be elsewhere and Selman bolted. Good luck to her in the future.

LSU Softball Preview 2015 Season

Its an exciting time, as the softball season begins for LSU tomorrow. This is without doubt Beth's most talented team she has had. We return the majority of our starters from last year. This year we have more depth, particularly at the pitching position.
Projected Starters
C-Kloss/Jaquish (Will alternate)
DH- (Jaquish or Kloss)
1B- Sandra Simmons-Junior
2B- Constance Quinn-Sophomore
SS- Bianka Bell- Junior
3B- Bourg- Freshman
LF- Emily Griggs- Freshman
CF- AJ Andrews- Senior
RF- Bailey Landry-Sophomore
The pitching rotation will be crazy, but in a good way.
Corbello will always be the Friday starter

You do realize that Selman beat Florida at Florida while throwing a complete game 4-hitter, don't you? Selman will be a number one and is an elite level starter. We just happen to have two more that are also.
