Temple senior running back Lache Seastrunk will announce where he plans to play college football in a Jan. 27 ceremony, Temple coach Bryce Monsen said Thursday. Seastrunk, Temple's all-time leader in rushing yards and total touchdowns, will make a verbal commitment at 4:15 p.m. at Wildcat Gym. Official NCAA letters of intent cannot be signed until Feb. 3. Leading up to last Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Seastrunk said the schools he's considering are - in alphabetical order - Auburn, Louisiana State, Memphis, Oregon and Southern California.

Memphis is the sleeper. The guy who was recruiting him to come to LSU is their guy over there now.I'm not making predictions but nothing would surprise me at this point.

Seastrunk has gotten attention lately but for the wrong reasons. Last week at the U.S. Army All American week, he was said to be careless carrying the ball at practice and seemed disinterested at times. He was also a late arrival at some team meetings.

THIS. Do we need this with all the RB we have and r getting.

Pretty sure he's got Memphis on the list out of respect for Porter...that's all.

It will be interesting as to what Reed does after his visit to LSU(if it happens). Frank will give him the hard-sell. That will be a huge factor where LS goes IMO.

Well if he is going to shock the world its going to be to Memphis. However my gut and head says that he picks the Oregon Ducks. LSU is done at running back for this year and next year.

The only way I see LSU getting Trovon is if Trooper Taylor and or Gus Malazhan leave. If neither leave I see Trovon going to AU in my opinion.

If Frank was at LSU from the beginning of the season, Trovon would've been an early commitment to LSU like Jarvis Landry IMO.

LSU already has a Seastrunk. His name is Russell Sheppard.

Yeah just like we didn't need Trent Richardson because of the same thing. And look how he turned out. Idiot

The wild tiger or various option plays with Russel Sheppard at QB and Lache in the back field would be sick.

To think because you have one fast guy to run plays is enough is just stupid.

I have a feeling if Frank uses him right than Jakari Gore will be better than Lache. I am really not sold on Lache. Gore tore up the toughest divison in high school football in the united states. 6A in Dade country is where it is, and if you can tear is up there, you can do it pretty much anywhere.

Trent had an awesome week at the UA practices last year. The recruiting "experts" at the game were singing his praises all week and at the game. As far as I know Trent and Lache have nothing in common as far as work ethic and attitude towards the game. Sad thing is Trent was going to come to LSU up till the night before signing day, and then Saban got in his ear and turned him.

Lache really didn't do much in the Army game or during practice during the week. He may tear it up in college. I hope he does well. I just think it will not be at LSU.

I really couldn't care less at this point. Pick a school and get on with it already.
