Pointing out that people come here with news that's so far off base and use the term "Source" when In reality it was just something picked up on a pay site by another member with no insider info to make themselves seem important.

I can't stand it when people say that they are 'hearing' certain info form 'sources' when they actually mean that they read it on 247 or nola.
It's not intentional most of the time, but I wish people would be more specific when they state details.

You don't have to name them just give general info. Like a player or coach or relative to someone. Remember brodyman who came on here and predicted TbJ to us in the UAA game. Come to find out he got all his info from jimmy smith and was just trying to take credit.

It's a joke. Many time a the athletes don't know.
Look at LF. He chose LSU. Bama thought they had him, then he says he was always LsU, then an article comes out how the wives had to save his recruitment. So, how in the he'll did anyone have information. It was ALL rumors until he signed. Even someone Saban spoke to might have been told he was theirs at some point

It's mostly about curiosity. When mudbone made his thread most of it were people bashing him for saying what he said or for grammar. Nobody knows if Shavar actually committed now but since there has been a lot of smoke about us being the leader everyone decided to start kissing arse. Inside info is appreciated but don't act like these people are gods just because they know somebody who is close to the situation. BPT might be friends with Les miles pool boy and is getting info from him, it's not like he is siting down with the recruits and recruiting them here.
