Saivion Smith = Future all-time great Tiger

This kid is so special. From his attitude, work ethic, talent, personality, etc. This kid has every tool that Patrick Peterson possesses and more. I expect to be just as good if not better than Peterson. We saw flashes in the spring game. This kid will lead the team in interceptions this year if I had to guess. He's a ball-hawk. Best recruit since Fournette.

Slow down there champ. Pat is an absolute stud. Let's see SS8 play a down first. For the record, I think he will be a very special player.

Smith and Toliver on the corners next year is gonna be very nice.

Can't compare him to PP7 because Peterson is a freak athlete. Never heard of a CB being over 6' and 200+ running a 4.3, that's kinda ridiculous.

The GOAT CB of all time ran 4.27 at 6'1"

Nice talent more in the mode of TM7.. PP7 one of the most explosive athletes of all time..

I think you're right and the insane thing is that I think Kristian Fulton is also gonna be one for the record books.

The dbs on this team are insanely talented

What's got you all riled up about this? Are you related to him?
I'm jazzed about him, too, but the spring game was a couple of weeks ago and I don't know that it's really necessary to compare a freshman after the spring to an all-American, all-pro great who's been performing at the highest levels since SS was 10 years old.
Keep stuntin', though.

I am excited about him too, but like a poster above mentioned he is a different kind of corner than pat. He absolutely does not possess every tool Peterson has, but has many of them and also different ones

This board really struggles with when a recruit becomes a player, and how threads like this belong on the rant

In what way?
He won't run a sub 4.4 forty at 220 lbs.
LINK
While I agree, I think he is gonna be good I have no idea who he compares to until I see him this fall. Many of the scouts compared him to honey badger because he is always around the ball, but there is still only 1 Tyrann Mathieu.

This is simply false. Patrick Peterson was a much better arhlete than Savion Smith, or any other DB who ever considered going to LSU.

Patrick Peterson is one of a kind and my favorite Tiger ever. We are in the same class and I met him before classes started freshman year and he was a class act. I'll always respect him for that because he could have easily let the hype get to his head.
Not the case with him. Special player and person.

He's not so much Peterson. He's a much more talented version of Mills

He is more of a Honey Badger than a PP IMO.
