I get what you're saying, but I think anyone that had a 13yr career with the Pats that can show off his 3 super bowl rings can probably recruit pretty well. It's clear he knows the position, you don't last that long on a Belichick team otherwise.

I think they are hiring someone else but sounds like Faulk is open to it.

Not sure about that, he had a great year recruiting this class. I don't know what happen at Texas, but he rebounded nicely.

USC recruits itself. Half of their recruiters were ranked top 10 in the PAC-10. USC had a ton of momentum the last 8 weeks of the season so they closed strong. Also ucla and Oregon were down and Stanford had a very small class so USC could pick whoever they wanted from CA.
